The Mansion At Rosario Resort

I just visited the amazing museum upstairs—definitely worth a stop! Unfortunately, the restaurant and spa were closed during my visit.

We booked dinner for two during New Year's Eve. It turned out the night was buffet only, which was a surprise. The buffet was limited and the food quality was not great with most meat entrees being dry or over cooked. The meal ended up costing $250 for two with a mandatory 20% tip for a self-service buffet. We were not impressed.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is warm and comfortable and has a beautiful view of the water. The food and drinks are fresh and delicious.

Considering the price range, I was expecting better. I took the ribeye, and although it was cooked exactly medium rare, which is what I asked, it wasn't very tasty, which is a bit disappointing for a 55$ meal. I had to add a lot of salt to bring back some flavor. In the end it was ok just ok. I can't help but feel it wouldn't have taken much more to make it great, it probably just was lacking in seasoning. But at that price, this is something I feel I had to mention.

Beautiful Mansion! Worth the visit just to tour it.
