Been going here since I got introduced to soul food and it's the best in the area. I recommend the egusi soup everything in the menu is delicious, I always crave her food but it's an hour away so I try to travel at least twice a month just to satisfy my cravings. We had the fufu and egusi. My sister and I ordered 2 days in a row! Yesterday was my sisters first time trying it. She liked it so much we got it again today! Flavor10 customer service 10. 10/10 Food was outstanding. Ms. Tonge is a very sweet and accommodating woman who was lovely to speak with on the phone and in-person. We ordered fufu and egusi soup, puff puffs, baked fish, and jollof rice and chicken. Everything was outstanding. I was fortunate to live in West Africa for some time while studying abroad in college and this is the first time that I've found food stateside that has been as good as it was back home. EVERYTHING was excellent. Two things to note when ordering: Ms. Tonge does plate and serve the food from her place of residence located within a quiet community. We did not know this prior to arriving but it was not a big deal for us. All the food had that homemade touch as well. There is also about a 1-hour wait time between ordering your food and pick-up. We didn't realize this until after we placed our order and read the website Google description, but fortunately, we were okay on time. The food was worth the wait, but just to future patrons, make sure to order around an hour ahead of when you expect to pick up your food. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and super flavorful.
