Applebee's Grill - Eau Claire

This place has really went up the last year, the cooks are great and the service is super friendly and always willing to make things right, it can get busy but that’s everywhere! Great managers.

Never the perfect experience, unfortunately, but this is typically where my kids choose to eat on the weekends and it gets the job done. Good value.Kid-friendliness: Typical coloring page menu with crayons. It'll keep them off a tablet for 10 minutes.

A total disappointment ! I honestly can 't believe my visit here tonight. The server takes my order and brings me my drink, a Mojito. I tell her that this is not a Mojito, there 's no mint in it. She says, we don 't have mint leaves , do you still want it ? I think the time to ask that is before you serve it. Then she brought the food, another disappointment. Had the Bourbon Street steak. The flavor was just ok, presentation was poor. She brings me a water and as soon as I finished eating she asked if she could bring me the bill. Still sipping water a messing on my phone she asks if she could take my payment now. Felt very rushed, very dissatisfied. My wife and I came here often when we lived in Eau Claire many years ago but will never be back here again after the way I was treated ! Being a good sport, I did leave a $1.00 tip, but not the 20 to 30 percent I would normally leave.

Seated served fast. Our server was very good attentive as was the manager on duty . Food was delicious.

The table we were sat at was sticky. The chicken wonton tacos were not made correctly. We've never had such flavorless and burnt wonton tacos. The beer pub pretzels were OK, but the cheese cup wasn't even half full when it was served. The service was friendly. We were just so disappointed by the food because we're used to better quality food at other Applebee's.
