Kjoebstaden - Ebeltoft

We followed the recommended tripadvisor and made a reservation for the following day. at the arrival we found the restaurant, as we expected it judged by the pictures. beautiful tables with white bed linen, politely welcome at the bar. the reservation however did not appear in the datei. in Danish there was a little whispering and we were accompanied with no other guests in the windowless cellar. that was not so comfortable looking, was supported by the fact that the table was not prepared at all. no serviettes, cutlery etc. yet we decided to stay. the order was removed and the drinks arrived quickly, but no broth and butter was offered (can be expected with a restaurant on this apartment and price class, the appetizers came without setup of the table and it was tried twice to serve a shrimp cocktail instead of thunfisch carpaccio; Finally, after a further reminder, the necessary tools were delivered to properly eat a meal. the total food quality was sufficient, the crème brulée above the standard. also for a Danish restaurant we found the menu somewhat overpriced. the ordered coffee came fast, too fast, because the empty plates of the main course were still in the way. when the bill was ordered, the waiter came with the phone card reader and that seemed very unusual, he immediately told me the total price without a bill for a check. this bill appeared together with the credit card receipt. the shrimp cocktail was still up, I didn't complain, the price matched the tuna item anyway. Together we saw a kitchen with good quality, but a service far below standard and with, on one side, no ideas to the street with small extras (brot, spreads, maybe an amuse gaule and on the other side not even base on the table as tablecloth and tablecloth. because this was provided on the tables in the ground floor, an unpleasant taste of the guests of the first and second class remains. there is a lot of space for improvements.

We ordered to take away, but when picking up the restaurant had made a mistake we were asked to wait a few minutes and was offered a free drink during the waiting. When the right court came, we said it was on the house My friends said that this would never have happened where they came from. I was there several times and always excellent service

We had a nice evening here the personal was incredibly courteous and attentive! the eating was well prepared and delicious we had the rib eye, fish of the day and the black foot boarhobe, with delicate meat, fresh sweet and perfect frits...(the béarnaise said homemade, and had good balance taste and smooth texture). would definitely recommend that someone go to ebeltoft to eat here!

Disturbed in this precious stone in ebletoft on our day trip from aarhus. our group of six was warmly welcomed by the employees and immediately sit in the cellar that was very cozy. our favorites on the menu were the stjernekaster and moules fries to our beer and white wine too. we have our afternoon to chat with the personal and explore the aesthetically appealing interieur. if she ever in ebleloft and looking for a place that has good eating and good moods, I highly recommend checking it.
