It was a bit tight fitting the buggy (mountain duet), but we managed to make it work. Although the weather wasn't perfect, the views were still stunning. In Glenridding, we didn't find many activities to do, so we decided to have lunch at the Travellers Rest, which was about an 8-10 minute walk from the pier.
These are steamers on my list for many years. they proved to be very well managed and both run on time and professionally. I went all the distance from ullswater to glenridding; that was on her boot lady of the lake. a nice trip on a quiet and warm day! on the return I came in how town, their only stop, and after an hour, at the order of their next boat to complete my trip back to ullswater. everything in everything, a beautiful experience!
The restaurant is a great place to enjoy the stunning views of the lake after a lengthy walk along Ullswater. The establishment is well-kept, and the staff is excellent, which is a bonus. It is advisable to bring a jacket as it can get quite chilly, especially if it's windy. Overall, it is a must-visit experience and highly recommended for anyone visiting Ullswater.
A wonderful way to travel over ullswater. not to miss. an upper deck with cover to enjoy the exceptional view and a lower deck that is warm with comfortable sitting, a bar with drinks and snacks, loos also on board.
Lovely trip for the family. The best way to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. Staff were really friendly and good value for money.
