Pennine Bistro - Eden

Had a great lunch here on a Sunday. Went for the hot beef sandwich with roasties. Delicious. Beef, cooked overnight, was tender. Thoroughly recommend. Sunday lunches also looked great. Our meal was far superior to our evening meal at the Black Bull in Nateby

The restaurant was extremely busy because of the Cumbria Easter Rally, but the service was excellent and the staff handled the rush well. The food we ordered was outstanding, especially the beef sandwich which was delicious and the roast potatoes were mouthwatering. Overall, it was a very enjoyable lunch break.

Great pub with a lovely local vibe. Friendly staff. Good pub food and decent selection of drinks. We were looked after very well by our server.

I travelled from Leeds, on Sunday 2nd April, to meet my sister mum from Cumbria at a halfway location and we decided upon Kirkby Stephen. We googled the pubs in town and chose The Pennine Hotel Bistro. It turned out to be a perfect choice. We had a lovely window seat and had Sunday lunch. What am amazing meal!! It was outstanding. Both my sister and I chose the roast beef . It was served with 2 huge, thick slices of beef which just melted in your mouth, accompanied with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, parsnips, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. Such a generous portion. Amazing quality and value!!! It was so delicious. Infact I would give it a score of 10 if I could. We will most certainly be coming back the next time we meet up.

I had a great meal at this restaurant! I stopped in for lunch while passing by and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious and fresh food. The fish and chips and lasagne were both fantastic. The staff was also very friendly.
