Pa De Thai - Edgewater

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area! I've ordered from them several times, and their Pad Thai is outstanding. It's always fresh, served hot, and made to perfection. The staff even called to confirm my special request. I give them 5 stars!

I tried the spicy Pad Kee Maow (Spicy Noodle), and it was delicious. However, I did have a couple of concerns with the shrimp. One shrimp was missing its head and had only the tail, while another was quite soft and mushy, which was unusual for me. Other than that, everything else was tasty. The vegetables tasted fresh, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Overall, I would be willing to give them another chance to improve on the shrimp.

I ordered the Fried Chicken Wings, and they were extremely small and overcooked! Definitely not worth the price! Both the Basil Fried Rice and the Curry Pineapple Fried Rice were overloaded with vegetables, which made them unbalanced.

The appetizers were overly mushy and clearly were damaged by having no holes punched in the container to vent steam. The curry was super watery and all of the vegetables were over cooked. My usual go to Thai place was closed and this one had good reviews. I definitely will never order again.

Steamed Vegetable Dumplings don't really taste like anything, were covered in dried garlic and were spicy which was not mentioned. Pad Thai has nothing to do with true pad Thai , was pretty dry, lacking flavour and tofu was not fried. Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango was very dry, lacking coconut sauce and mango was not ripe and very thready
