Santouka - Edgewater

I think this is actually better than Ichiran! This ramen shop actually gives larger portions of pork for a cheaper price. I totally would come back. I got the tonkotsu toroniku ramen along with a negi rice bowl combo. Food was great! This restaurant gets swamped though and they do a lot of business via online orders like Seamless.

This was my second visit in a few months, and I can honestly say that it's the main reason many people, including myself, keep coming to this marketplace. The ramen, regardless of the broth you choose, is consistently outstanding and full of flavor. It’s no surprise that there’s always a crowd, no matter the time of day. The ramen is amazing and reasonably priced. We arrived today before their 11 AM opening, and there was already a line of ten people ahead of us. It's a shame I live in New York; otherwise, I would be here three times a week!

Big ****. The big one was enough to share two people. For the toppings, pigs and egg were just ok, but the bamboo shoots were my favorite part. We have the salmon bowl and rice with Roe was amazing!

This restaurant is like that favorite movie you could watch repeatedly and never grow tired of. Each visit brings the same comforting experience, with flavors that remain consistently excellent. The noodles, the broth, the chashu – everything is always spot on, even the rice dishes are fantastic. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, this is it. You’ll definitely have a reason to return again and again.
