Lumber Yard Cafe - Edgewood

We eat here very often as a family. we have always enjoyed eating and service, but recently we had no good experience at all. my wife found a moth in her salat and when we told the owner, she did nothing until I informed another worker about it. she gave us a $2 discount. we decided to go to the breakfast today because they are our favourite place for the breakfast. my wife never got her omelett and there was table next to us who waited 45 min and never got her food. the kitchen goes down quickly. do not plan to return soon.

Absolutely terrible service even told the casser at the front that the little girl waiting for us needed to slow down, she was very fast at everything she did not even listen to us when we told her what we needed to not bring the butter to us until we had asked for it. she will not be a waitress next time

The first time to stop here. eating and service was great. I had a light lunch, green salad with celestial edigette dressing and baked kartoffel soup.

Eating was excellent, I loved our server. I would definitely come back

This is my 2nd time to eat here not from the area) and this place does not disappoint! Wonderful friendly small town service and hearty food with generous portions. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and fried okra. Batter on the steak and okra both were light and crunchy. Potatoes are homemade of course no instant potatoes here. The plate was served with a soft warm roll as well. All the servers were busy tending to their customers and you never had to flag anyone down to ask for anything. I will definitely be back again
