Taco Palenque Edinburg

Eduardo not only took my order and reduced my waiting time so quickly. Soon he served his guest with beautiful desserts. I went with the most delicious authentic Mexican dishes and their handmade desserts are the perfect pleasure to fill an empty stomach. Quality service and great tasting.

Really good Mexican food. It's a little difficult to order if you don't know some Spanish. You prices are on the higher side but the food is worth it. There is always a long line at the Trenton location so be prepared to wait a little while. It's not taco bell its taco P and it's a really big difference. I'll go back again.

I came to taco palenque for my lunch break, I usually order the #5 which comes with two quesadillas with fajita. I always ask to substitute the fajita for chicken, which is a simple task that should not be that difficult to complete in my opinion. Especially given that ?de pollo? was listed on my receipt. All in all, my order came out wrong. I was slightly disappointed given that I had to get back to work as quick as possible. But the host of that shift Eduardo Juarez, made sure that my order got fixed in a timely manner and made everything just right for me.

If you love quesadillas as much as I do, the SUPER QUESADILLA with fajita is for you! It is two, huge flour tortillas stuffed like a sandwich with queso and fajita. It is cut like a pizza, though! Each slice of quesadilla is delicious, especially if you add some beans (provided with this plate). The baked potato is very lackluster. It is not the greatest, and a bit on the smaller size compared to other places I've tried. It is somewhat dry. It probably needs butter. Be ready to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your order at the drive-thru on a busy weekend evening!

We ordered 2 LARGE Caldos de Res..about......... 23 Instead we got alot of caldo...2 half cut corns...2 thin sliced carrots and alot of green beans in a Caldo?! Wth! Anyways...the interesting part is where's the meat? Which is why we order a caldo plus veggies...please see attached picture. 11 pieces of small cut meat!!!
