Efes - Edinburgh, City of

This was the worst take-out experience I have ever had. Despite confirming my order for a donner wrap twice, the restaurant ended up giving me something completely different and disgusting. I felt sick after biting into it and suspect that I may have ingested some of it. Upon unwrapping the wrap, there was no trace of donner meat. This experience has made me lose trust in this place, as they could easily hide anything in a wrap and sell it to customers. I highly recommend finding another place for your meals. It seems that the positive reviews for this restaurant may have been from previous owners.

We have been visiting Efes as a family for many years. The owner is very hospitable and the food is consistently delicious.

I received a warm welcome at this restaurant, which is open when other places are closed. The chicken pakora was absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, the food was great!

I have never really liked going here but sometimes necessity kicks in late late at night when the tummy rumbles. Not the warmest welcome you'll ever get either.

Have visited Efes a couple of times last visit was on Saturday 6th.The Pizza is lovely my grandson and I had one 12 each . My husband had the chicken Pakora and my son had a kebab. We had a really nice red wine with our meal and some beers. The gentleman who makes the food and serves tables is always very pleasant and courteous to his customers. The surroundings are not fancy but the tables and chairs are clean as are the downstairs toilets. The prices are great and service is excellent.
