Jake's Place - Edinburgh, City of

Great and interesting Boubon selection, expansive cask and independent beer selection. Nice small bites menu makes it great for a quick bite to eat. Their spicy fries are awesome. It's quite small and can get quite busy, due to Belushis and the hostel next door. But it is definitely one of the best places naer the Station to kill some time before your train.

First stop off the train! Great beer selection (Oak Stout is particularly good) with passable bar food. Nice atmosphere throughout the day, and can get very busy in the evening. Expect city prices.

Great bar we visited in Edinburgh. arrived our favorite place to cool a tourist after a busy day. The food was also delish.

This restaurant is a very welcoming spot for travelers, as the bar also serves as the reception desk for the hostel upstairs. They have a great variety of beers to choose from, and you can also grab a bite to eat there. They have live music events once or twice a week as well.

Chris and Jemma are fantastic hosts at this restaurant. They offer a wonderful selection of craft beers, including bottles, taps, and casks. The calamari in Edinburgh is the best I've ever had. The bathroom machines are also very helpful. Overall, a great experience.
