However, I find it clear that people are allowed to put their feet on the tables (sessel and sofas also)! the employees are passing. without a lateral view, I can only imagine that they do not have a hygienic concept. I have never experienced this in a caffe and wished that personal would put a stop in practice.
To be fair, it is well equipped and the layout is good for those who are looking for somewhere quiet to study or work. also the feed and drink options are decent! but a small baked carrot and a small beside salad cost £7.75 Besides...his generally expensive for what it is. It's okay I think. I would encourage people to come for a tee or coffee and work for a few hours, but go somewhere else to lunch, as there are many better and cheaper alternatives close.
This caffe is open to all, but in the context of the presence of the university edinburgh it is a popular study space for students and a conference room for employees. as such they can expect it to be better than it is. coffee is a better option...to go for as tee as tee is simply a bag in a cup hot water. at this price is a small teekanne usual. the baked are a nice tasty.
Unfortunately, the standards appear to slip on the levels caffe. the employees allow people (which often have not bought food or drink) to conduct loud teleconferences or meet while others try to concentrate quietly on their own work. the caffe is not another conference room device of university. the coffee can also be variable, from excellent to bottom right slapdash; there is no consistency in quality and certainly no apology when they get it wrong.
This is a great place to eat. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and the vegetarian version was amazing. I had never tried vegetarian haggis before and we all found the portions big. Staff were all very obliging and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit here.
