Visited with colleagues for a social pizza party. The staff was brilliant in catering for vegan and gluten-free diets.

Definitely until Zizzi's in these days 2 great vegan pizzas, good atmosphere and service. Recommended for a good pizza in Edinburgh :

Pizzas are delicious ! This is not the problem The problem is your partner Deliveroo! We order for 40£, I was waiting 5 minutes before outside to be ready and the delivery never come… We wait 1h for nothing, that’s a shame ! Pay attention to the peuple you Work with!

The only reason I 'm giving any stars is because of the very pleasant service and the amazing building. We visited at 5.30 on Saturday booked for a quick meal before the theatre. Four of us ordered 3 pizza margaritas and one canneloni. No starters as we were due at the theatre. Sadly the pizzas were appalling. No self respecting Italian would have served them. In fact they looked like they had been handmade by 5 year olds. We were spoken to by the manager 'see you again? ' Sadly no, and if we had more time I would have said something. Pizza Express it may be, but please think about your quality.

AWFUL. I ordered a delivery of pollo pesto pasta from Deliveroo. It came within good time. However, the disappointment arose upon receiving the order. I had requested cutlery and there was none in the package, this was an issue as I was at work and there was no cutlery there. I called up and told the guy but he didn’t seem to care. This was a minor issue but the biggest issue then came when tasting the food. The first bite was horrible resulting in that first bite also being the last bite. I couldn’t believe this was the level of food I had been sent. The pasta was both rubbery and crunchy at the same time, as if the pasta had been made weeks ago and just added to the sauce. I have had this pasta at other branches and normally love it. So when I called the Morningside restaurant and explained what had happened I was shocked to find that the guy on the line didn’t really care about the feedback I was giving him. There was no empathy or sorrow in his response and I feel really let down by this Pizza Express experience. Do better or shut down.
