The greeting was very friendly and I ordered the Mango Juice (this is a BYOB restaurant) and a Palace Chicken with plain rice. Food was excellent and plenty of it and the whole experience was very good indeed. Am staying in the same hotel in Feb 24 and will definitely be re-visiting this restaurant during my stay. Well done the kitchen and front of house staff.
We had dinner at this restaurant and I wasn't sure if the reviews I read would meet my expectations. The restaurant is not very fancy, but it's okay. The tarka dal was just right, the paneer makhani was nice and spicy, and the chicken tikka masala was decent. It's a bring your own drink establishment with no corkage charge, as the off-license is next door. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Overall, it lived up to expectations. If you're craving Indian food in Edinburgh, give it a try.
The Punjabi garlic lamb curry was excellent and absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the staff was lovely. While they do not have a liquor license, it does make the restaurant less crowded. Overall, definitely worth a visit.
The food was decent, with a generous serving of biriyani but a small serving of chicken tikka. The waitress Pallavi was charming and delightful.
We made the reservation during the day. People staff were kind. We had a chicken dish and a vegetarian dish. Both tasted great.
