Salisbury Arms - Edinburgh, City of

Enjoyable meal and warm comfortable setting. Lovely staff.

We were really looking foreward to our visit at the Salisbury Arms. Unfortunately 3 out of 4 main courses were missing the sauces... I had to search for a waiter and by the time they arrived one of us hat already finished and the two other plates were cold. Not a very pleasant Dinner.

We ate at the Salisbury Arms on our first day in Scotland! What a great welcome meal we had beautiful ambiance, excellent food and great service! I highly recommend this restaurant!

The staff were so friendly and helpful nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. Good amount of room between tables so you didn’t feel you were on top of your fellow diners. The food was delicious, nicely arranged on the plate and very tasty. Lovely decor. Very spacious bar area. Just an excellent experience all round. Well done The Salisbury Arms.

Great separate vegan menu which changes frequently. Cosy, intimate atmosphere despite its size. I love it for meeting a big group of friends who all have different dietary preferences and some who need to drive (as it has a big free car park). I would totally recommend the pecan pie!
