The Bier Keller Picardy Place

The staff was friendly and professional, I and my partner had a Sunday dinner here and we felt welcome since the first step. We had a SB Platter as Sharer Starter and it was delicious. The bone marrow was succultivated, but the haggis croquettes were a little disappointing, they lacked the taste expected by haggis. For the head we had the Chateaubriand and the flesh itself was absolutely heavenly. Such a shame that it was not served on a hot slate or iron plate to keep it warm. These details would have increased lunch to another level. I know I'm persnickety but I'll give 5 stars anyway, because the meat was wonderful! The sides were delicious and the sauce beautiful. Very recommended restaurant for a meaty meal!

Just good quality steak overall, have been here on a regular basis and I keep coming back. Good helpful staff, nice ambiance, although it can get a bit noisy when it’s busy.
