The Other Place - Edinburgh, City of

A friend invited me to meet at this restaurant for a quick coffee, as I have previously been here for drinks and a light meal. The breakfast roll I ordered was exceptional and the price was unbelievably low. I highly recommend visiting this place for a delicious roll, outstanding service, and great value for money - it's the best I've tried in the area, despite dining at many other places. The staff are also very friendly.

My partner and I decided to come in here for some last minute dinner. We called up at around 5pm on a Sunday asking for a reservation at 7pm and thankfully got booked in no problem Upon arrival we were shown to our seats, and ordered a beer as we browsed the menu. All of the food looked delicious. I eventually opted for the Scotdog (hotdog topped with Haggis and whiskey sauce) and my partner opted for the Other Burger (burger with cheese, chilli sauce and jalapenos). First time in today...place, staff, ambience, decor was very very pleasing... I had the crispy prawns with chilli sauce...amazing!!! Best prawns in Edinburgh!!! Sorry it was just a bite and a glass of Vino, for today, but I will be back very soon for Dinner....the menu looks Yummy!!! June..Edinburgh...

Another one in the long line of gentrified boozers, The Other Place has been open for a few months showcasing a varied menu and broad selection of beers.
