After visiting the castle, we dined at this lovely restaurant. We were seated on the second floor. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. While it may not be the most budget-friendly option on the Royal Mile, you definitely get what you pay for.

I spent an excellent time with my family, James, our server, took some time to explain the different flavor of whisky and took a pleasure to also get our feedback about some whisky we tasted. The food was excellent with some great goat cheese at the end. The server was really kind and seemed really interested in his job and whisky.
