I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My daughter and I ordered the soup of the day, Lentil, for £5.95 each. To our disappointment, the soup tasted exactly like Heinz Lentil soup and had the same consistency. My mother ordered the fish and chips, which looked nice, but was ruined by an excessive amount of salt on top. In addition to the disappointing food, I found the attitude of the staff to be arrogant and rude. It is unfortunate that as a long-time resident of the area, I only visit this restaurant out of convenience. I would not recommend it to others.

I visited this restaurant a few months ago with a party of 10 following a funeral. Our group ended up growing to 13 people upon arrival, but the shift manager was accommodating and had no issues with the larger party. The entire staff went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Huge thanks to the staff, we will definitely be returning in the future.

We had our Golden Anniversary there in private room at back great area for family etc . The restaurant is well run and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also has a bar next-door. I would recommend and will be going back.

Had a birthday lunch for my wife. the staff were brilliant the food was brilliant and the service was above and beyond. definitely recommend this restaurant. they also have a function room which we have used on several occasions over the years great venue for a party. or big family get together.

We went to this restaurant for a late lunch today. When we arrived, we had to wait about 5 minutes before someone came to greet us and seat us (we didn't have a reservation). Once we were seated, our waiter brought us menus and took our drink order. We ordered a bruschetta and olives for starters. The olives were quite soft but the bruschetta was delicious. For our mains, we had a chicken Caesar salad and a chicken chorizo pasta. The anchovies in the salad were a bit salty, but overall it was okay. The pasta sauce tasted like it was made with a can of mixed vegetable soup and had some chopped olives and peas thrown in. It wasn't the best, but we were hungry so we finished it. In my opinion, the prices are a bit high for the average quality of the food.
