However, I was hungry and in the vicinity, so I thought I’d give it a try. As a flagship bar of the Montpelier Group, Tigerlily underwent a fantastic renovation last year, coinciding with the arrival of Copper Blossom. The aesthetic is consistent across both venues, and the space is thoughtfully designed, providing flexibility for various needs—whether you're looking for drinks, a meal, or just a relaxing coffee break.
This stunning bar, located within a hotel on George Road, offers a delightful Asian fusion dining experience. The decor is beautiful, creating an inviting ambiance. The cocktail selection is impressive; we tried the Pornstar Martini and the Grey Goose Fizz, both of which were quite good and reasonably priced at just £8 each.
The staff was exceptionally polite, friendly, and accommodating; nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. They truly made us feel like valued guests, providing fast service with a welcoming smile. We skipped the starters to save room for desserts and headed straight to the main courses. The hanging chicken skewer with peanut sauce was delicious and delicate. The peanut sauce had a unique flavor and the couscous was fresh, herby, and served piping hot. All three of us couldn’t help but express our delight with every bite, and none of us found anything to critique in our orders. For dessert, we indulged in three different options to share. I highly recommend the chocolate brownie—it was gooey and fudgy inside with a crisp exterior, perfectly complemented by vanilla ice cream. The raspberry yogurt cheesecake was also delightful, albeit quite sweet with a touch of cheesecake ice. We had such a wonderful time at Tiger Lily that none of us wanted to leave. The experience was worth every penny, and I highly recommend it for a fabulous dining evening!
The service is cold and while there is nothing to do with eating, there is nothing exciting or extraordinary. the perfect place for if you want to cum the money and think a better place for them
This was a great restaurant for food and drinks. The ambience is colourfully decorated though the noise is a bit loud generally. It was crowded even on weekdays. The food tasted great. The service was decent and the staff was friendly. We got a separate enclosure for a large group on advance booking.
