It's funny how the most highly-rated restaurants in many cities aren't necessarily upscale or sophisticated. In Edinburgh, as well as in Porto and Lisbon, there are plenty of fast-food joints; some are casual and cozy, while others are more traditional taverns. You can eat there without any formal seating and with barely any service at the counter, and they don't even sell beer (I bought a beer from a shop next door, and they provided me with a glass). But what you do get is truly high-quality food. My chicken quesadilla was divine, the guacamole was among the best I've ever had, and the chicken and black bean burrito was rich and flavorful. The prices are reasonable for this type of food in the UK, and the staff is very friendly, which is common in Scotland.

Went out looking for somewhere to get a quick lunch on a Sunday, found this place and had a steak burrito, it was fantastic, really impressed with the quality of the ingredients and what it cost me! Also the staff were great very friendly! Highly recommended!
