Number One - Edinburgh

Went to Number one in Edinburgh's Princess Street Balmoral Hotel on Saturday evening and once again had the best meal ever started with the goats cheese yummy then had Salmon for main and banana souffle to follow excellent. the little titbits in between were excellent too as was the bread. Not the cheapest but certainly the best!

Had the 7 cursor menu and each cure was excellent, as well as the well-informed coworkers and ambiente. would highly recommend for special occasions and the like, as it is not cheap, but I guess the quality of food and coworkers are why it is expensive.

Excellent fine eating in the stately balmoral hotel. eating was excellent and beautifully prepared. service was friendly and in front of location the dining room is elegant and comfortable. I would recommend without hesitation and would return to another visit.

Number one is impressed by everything in our top three. the decoration is so funny! very chic plus old school but also very comfortable. eating was beyond perfection. we could not believe how complex and absolutely tasty every single thing was. (we made the wine-combi menu. ultimately and perhaps most important in these days. the service. absolutely impeccable. our wine was always perfectly tempered with our eating. the level of the fined collaboration was impressive. everyone was extremely knowledgeable about what we ate, not just a few people. we felt like number one is just the way a very good restaurant should be. especially a Michelin-star restaurant. many thanks for such a special and delicious evening.

A beautiful culinary experience and a beautiful atmosphere. the tasting menu was not disappointing, the pigeon starter was a highlight.
