The Pakora - Edinburgh

Wow what an amazing place, the meal was amazing and very friendly staff and the owner was a great guy to speak to about his restaurant. They really put their heart and soul into this business. I had the lamb curry and wow it was full of flavour. You can sit inside or outside which is great to have this choice. If I could give more stars I would Thank you again for the amazing meal and service. I will be back again for sure !!!

Outstanding dining experience! My family and I enjoyed dinner here, and it was fantastic. The service was exceptional—extremely attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, patient, and very helpful. The food was exceptionally tasty. I highly recommend this place if you're staying on the Royal Mile.

The food at this restaurant was incredibly delicious! The staff was friendly and very helpful in guiding us on what to order. The decor was beautiful, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.

Tucked away, The Pakora Bar is located along the Royal Mile, near the Parliament side. It offers a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a lovely setting. The butter chicken with rice was delightful, and the Aubergine Pakora was a real highlight. The Punjabi and mint yogurt sauces paired perfectly, and we highly recommend trying them. Don't forget to wash it all down with a nice beer. If you find yourself in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by for a meal or a drink—great value for what you get!

The hotel is located in a quiet part of the main tourist attractions. Comfortable and warm environment. Very friendly staff. Curry is very good, natural taste without too much artificial favors. Portion exactly right for a rotten lunch washed with a beautiful local beer.
