Moghul Express - Edison

I hail from Kolkata and since childhood have been exposed to the delicacies of Tangra close home... So have never really been fond of authentic Chinese but sadly that's what we get in this country mostly... Was looking for some Indo Chinese food last evening and this place came up... We decided to try this and were fully satisfied... This place serves some of the best Indo Chinese cuisine in the area... We tried the House Special Noodles, the Special Fried Rice, Drums of Heaven and Hakka Chilli Chicken... Everything reminded me of Tangra Chinese and that is no mean feat... Decent quantities and priced moderately... A difficult combination to beat... While we were waiting for all that to be made we even tried the Dahi Phuchka which looked te tempting and was delicious indeed... A must visit if you crave for Indo Chinese...<br/ <br/ Tried a variety of dishes on a more recent visit... The Garlic Pepper prawn, gobi manchurian, hakka Chilli chicken and again the mixed special fried rice... No scope to increase the rating further so added more pictures this time...

We always drive an hour to Edison to try Indian food. Today we stopped at Moghul Express and we were not disappointed. Me and my wife wanted to eat some Indian chinese and South Indian food being sick of curries all the time. We order chilly chicken, schzewan chicken noodles and Cheese Dosa. Chilly chicken was perfectly spicy just like restaurants in India. Only thing i didn't like was the Sambar, possible that my taste buds couldn't catch the spices after eating the chilly chicken. Overall a good experience. It is like express restaurant don't expect a full dining service. Thanks for having us.

We were looking for quick Indian dinner on a weekday , the place is really easy to spot off oak tree road . good variety of indo Chinese food . their curries are really good . must try is chicken hyderbadi . portions are really good and curries come with a side of rice .

Although I am the first to admit the prices are a bit steeper than wanted, however the food here is worth it. The taste is so authentic indian chinese which you can't easily get here. I have always received excellent customer service from the guys here. Recommendation would be making the rice quantity a but higher when ordering food. My favorite menu chilli chicken and white rice with mango lassi.... yummmmmmmy!!

Best Dosas. I enjoy dosas very much, and Moghul Express has the best of any I've tasted anywhere. They're big, but the texture has been perfect each time I've eaten there- thin and slightly crispy on the ends, soft in the middle, and the fillings are excellent. Moghul Express's desserts, however, seem to be their signature. They're very pretty, so you're paying a little more for appearance, and they're very tasty.
