Packrat Louie Kitchen & Bar - Edmonton

They closed the whyte ave location and did not check whether it would be future reservations through open table. we showed up and the place was closed. the website also has the narrow location. When we contacted the Jasper site, they said they canceled their open table account for the whyte 3 weeks ago. we booked our jubilee dinner 2.5 months ago. based on bad customer service, we will not go to the other location of the city ever.

The food was tasty and served promptly. However, the waitress appeared disinterested in her work, which affected the level of service. Overall, it was just okay.

I didn't find the cost of quality well. the ambiente was nice, but the server rushed us and eating was just ok. shrimp much too salty, start eating ok.

The food and service were excellent and the noise level was low, allowing us to have conversations easily. However, our experience was marred when we requested a decaf latte only to be told that it was not available. Disappointed, we decided to go to Starbucks nearby instead. This decision resulted in your restaurant missing out on the $20 that the four of us would have spent there.

We had been to the downtown Bottega and with tickets to the Opera, we felt this would be a good place for a early meal. This is of course the old Packrat Louies and the floor plan is similar. I actually prefer the ambience to the downtown location. Food was excellent.
