The salad bar had minimal offerings (2 types of lettuce/greens mix, cheese, carrots/cucumbers, croutons, 3 dressings) but everything was fresh and flavorful. The hummus was great! I'm not a soup fan, but the sausage gumbo was very good. We shared dessert, and the cheesecake was really good.Service was prompt and pleasant, and the room/seating was cute and comfortable. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were, given that the cafe is in a nice uptown hotel. Lunch items were $12 - $18 dollars, and dessert was $7.Street parking can be difficult on weekdays, so we used the hotel's parkade - $10 for 2 hours.
I had dinner here while staying at the hotel. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with garlic aoli, with a side of fries ($14). It was delicious and a good portion. The service was very friendly! My only complaint was that they ran out of the sticky toffee pudding.
Stayed in the Coast and enjoyed the Breakfast buffet. Lunch and Dinner Menu had lots of options and plates were well presented
This offers you the typical selection including eggs and potatoes. It is buffet style but one can also order à la carte.
We went for breakfast. thought it was great at first. then we discovered that the eggs bennys were infested with mold. didnt pay and just left the building. goes to show how digusting and unhygienic this resturant really is.
