Bianco - Edmonton

When I approached it looked like it wasn't busy from the outside. When I entered I was met by one of the most lovely blonde hostesses ever. We were led to our table and service was above and beyond. I have a lot of favorite Italian restaurants I visit around north America and this is in the top 10. The food was fabulous. Prices reasonable.. had two bottles of chianti so that increased our bill.

Had the linguine al nere, campsnelle argusta, and caffeine affagato.Both pastas were seafood pastas that came with a pretty decent amount of seafood. Pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. Parmesan and fresh pepper to top was very good as well. The ink in the li guini al nere adds a nice subtle taste and the cream and sauce underneath are excellent.Caffeine affagato had a very strong expresso taste to it, and that was awesome!.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, food was flavourful without feeling overly heavy. Split this amount of food between 3 people.Carbonara was a bit too rich for me. Loved the calamari, lightly breaded and a must have appetizer.

Highly recommend Bianco! The atmosphere was great on the patio, the server was very good and friendly, the cocktails were delicious and very unique and the food was awesome. We both had pizza and loved it!

The food is by far the best thing about Bianco, but...To start, we booked a reservation and got sat in between two tight tables making our night uncomfortable. We were expecting a better table selection because we made a reservation, yet when we arrived it wasn't too busy and several other tables were available the entire time we ate, which was disappointing.Secondly, the server we had was slow. I'm only saying this because our experience was wrecked based on what we witnessed while we waited 20 minutes for our bill. We were sitting facing the kitchen/bar and I watched our server spend most of his time joking around with all the other staff and he was standing around the bar hanging out. He wasn't waiting for drinks or food, as I watched him for almost 20 minutes doing this. We had asked for our bill 3 times because he forgot the first two times. It ruined our experience here which is too bad because the food was absolutely delicious.
