Blue Nile Authentic Ethiopian Restaurant

The restaurant offers fantastic food, a wonderful atmosphere, and great music. The portion sizes are large and the service is excellent and speedy.

I have mixed feelings about discovering this place. The food is incredibly delicious.

If I could give a negative review, I would! I ordered the shrimp Papaya salad for $20 and was disappointed by the lack of shrimp in the small portion.

I gave this place a raving review last time. I am adding this one because I wonder if they have two prices for people. In this trip to the Blue Nile we ordered the same combo but added the chicken. It consisted of one small drumstick and a hard boiled egg in some dark sauce. Maybe we got more bread but it was all in one basket. The drumstick and egg added $15 to the bill. The total came to $42 to fill a small boy and one adult. I have to wonder if their regulars pay that same price because I doubt many would order that. No other complaints but I am adding this because I think my last review was too high in retrospect.

The food was fantastic, and the cook gave us advise on what to order. Although the restaurant is small, approx 8 tables, and the decor so so, if you want authentic Ethiopian food, this is the place to go.
