I would have given this 5 stars for service, portion size and friendliness but when I got home with the food the interior of the fish package was full of semi-solidified grease. We got the food at 5:30pm Either the temperature of the fat it was cooked in was too low, or they didn 't drain it pro. The fish (cod) was good, the chips were so-so...I like thicker cut than theirs. I 've had their food before and it was better but I think they need to have the fat at a higher temperature. If it was because we were early for the evening rush, and their fat wasn 't yet up to temp I would 've waited till it was if they 'd told me. Temp of fat is crucial for Fish and chips!! And a good chippie will know that.
