We had a wonderful time at the Prinzen Proklamation on Saturday while celebrating a birthday with friends. Great food and entertainment galore!!
The restaurant is informal and appears to be more geared toward all the community groups that use the facility as a dinner meeting place. Ive been here a few times and the restaurant is always empty but the meeting rooms are full. The buffet is therefore popular. Food is good and plentiful. Pretty basic place and food is just 'simply good' overall. Prices are reasonable. It's the perfect place for a group dinner meeting since they have some great imported beers on tap and in bottles too.
Eight of us went to the German Club Restaurant to celebrate the Birthday of two long time friends. We started with the Salad, which was very fresh, the Buffett was good and there was plenty of dessert to choose from. The Service was excellent, very attentive.
Have been here twice for office Christmas gatherings and Oktoberfest.Oktoberfest was fun and loud, pretzel and beer and native clothing and dancing. The Christmas parties buffet is small and hit and miss. Last year, the food was not very good taste or appearance wise. This year, taste was much better but limited selection. Only meat was fish, devilled eggs and stuffed pepper. Wow, not even turkey or beef. The cost is $20 per person without drinks.Sadly, the club's coordinator did not work with the group when they asked to move to restaurant space when they attendance could not justify having a private room. I hope we won't have to work with them next year as they have been inconsistent in their business practices for smaller private groups.
