India Village Restaurant Ltd - Edmonton

This hidden gem in Edmonton's diverse dining scene is truly exceptional. Visit on a weekday and you'll probably have the buffet all to yourself! The food is top-notch, much less oily than other Indian buffets I've tried. The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. This restaurant is great for families, with plenty of room between tables even on weekends when it gets busier.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this small restaurant. The service was good, not too pushy. I sampled most of the buffet options and found each one to be delicious. The prices were fair and the decor was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant regularly, as I certainly plan to do.

We often go for dinner, and have never been disappointed by the food or the staff. Living in Sherbrooke, I am glad to have a high quality, but affordable, restaurant in our community. I hope they flourish and are around for many, many years.

What a find! I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant serving delicious and affordable Indian cuisine on the north side. I wish I had discovered it sooner, but even now that I've moved to Millcreek, I make sure to go out of my way to visit every once in a while.

We stopped in at Sagar, an East Indian restaurant with new management and new name after a day of shopping in Edmonton. The buffet had just closed but the food items were still out. The owner came out and offered to make us anything we wanted, and continued to serve us well throughout the meal. The interior ambiance is very nicely done. The food was fantastic. If this restaurant keeps up the service and food quality it will be among the top East Indian cuisines in Edmonton. We will be back!
