Kiwado Japanese Cuisine - Edmonton

Used to be 5 stars and our favorite ramen place in the city. Something has changed in the last year and not for the better in my opinion. Could be a change in cook or the recipes themselves. Either way we won't be back.

This restaurant is truly exceptional. The staff is fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is superb. And did I mention the staff? They are amazing. I could see myself coming here every day for the rest of my life.

Stopped in for dinner on a Saturday night, place was empty but seemed very popular for take out. Service was good and we really enjoyed the beef tataki, gyoza and ramen. Would definitely return.

The kiwado roll was tasty, but the ramen was mediocre. Server was friendly and warm but, food took awhile to come.

Sushi boat was great value for $39 you get more than enough sushi for two people. The fried spicy tuna roll was also delicious. Also tried the stir fry upon which was ok but nothing special. They could use more staff as service is a bit slow but I think everywhere is readjusting to dine in service now post lock down. Overall good experience.
