We dropped in on a holiday Monday (around 7:00pm). A couple groups ate in but most were getting takeout. We were a group of 5 so we were able to order several dishes. Service is friendly (one waitress) and our waters were refilled constantly.
Kurry Kebab is hidden in a corner of a strip mall, and a Friday lunch trip there from a recommendation left me satisfied. I stopped by around noon and was greeted to an empty restaurant, which I thought was weird. I was greeted by the owner who allowed me time to figure out what to order. I settled on their butter chicken, and also ordered a veggie samosa that my coworker had suggested. And at $1/samosa, why not right? It took a little while to receive my food, however I interpreted that to be because the food was extremely fresh.<br/ <br/ There was a lot of food. It came with rice, two curry side dishes, and naan bread. It was good but not amazing. I enjoyed it but there was nothing that made it stand out. I didn't find the curry very spicy either. I liked the large portion size, however. Samosas were also pretty good. Flaky and generous potatoes on the inside.<br/ <br/ All in all, it's a decent quiet place to grab lunch when you're in the area, but it by no means is anything amazing. Recommended.
The menu is not very elaborate however I have tried the mutton biryani and it is quite good. Not too spicy. The portion can easily fill 2 people.
I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly. The gentleman that helped me this afternoon actually took the time to talk to me while my food was being cooked for takeout. He taught me about how Naan is made, and the differences between how things are done here in Canada compared to India. I was extremely impressed!
I've been here a few times now, I'm always impressed with the quality and flavor of the food it's so good! And generous with the rice too! It's one of the top takeout Indian places in the south and well priced in my opinion. The place is average on the inside and the music is hit and miss. Oh and probably the best mango lassie I've had in a long time. I love this place!
