What a big disappointment to arrive there last Thursday to find a sign on the door saying ' Opening Soon ' ..... The Big Burger. Great scott. Imagine our surprise to find out that such good food for the body was being replaced by another ' barfBurger ' .Too bad that the younger generation don't have enough education to appreciate good food. Make no wonder that by eating at the fast-food greasy joints they have schidt-for-brains. Good luck to them and its so long from him.....BobLoblah
One of our favorites but unfortunately closed and location now becoming a Fatburger. We had no idea it was closing. We had been going and picking from there for years. It was our favorite Thai restaurant. So sad. But now to look for our next favorite Thai restaurant.
This place is fantastic. Yes, it's a bit expensive, but it's so worth it. It's not super busy so you can always find a seat, and the service has always been outstanding every time I go. I have gone for someone's birthday party with a ton of people - still the service was wonderfulI have gone a few times when in-laws have been in town and they all love the food. Pad Thai - 5/5Coconut Rice - 5/5Mango Shrimp Curry - 10/5 (I cannot say anything about this dish to make you realize just how good it is)Like I said, it may be a little pricey, but they never go wrong, and the portions are insane! Perfect for a date night, or with a group of people where you can share all the delicious grub.
A group of friends gathered for a Christmas dinner and decided to give this place a try.We have a few dietary needs and the restaurant was able to help with that. There were many gluten free options that allowed our friends to select something that worked for them. There are many types of curry dishes as well as various other choices. If you cannot handle spice or want extra spice then make sure to let them know. The have a mild spice for most meals unless you make a request. The food was great when it finally came. The rest of the group (10 of us) all received their meal at the same time. My meal did not come for an additional 10 minutes as it was a meal that took a bit longer to prepare...it was worth the wait but usually restaurants try to plate and serve all the meals at once.I had the Crying Tiger Steak. It was a large enough serving for a full take home meal (or could easily serve two people)Rice bowls (small) are good enough for 2 people and a large bowl can accommodate 3-4 people. The setting is nice with a lot of character.
Sukhothai has been voted the best Thai restaurant in Edmonton a rating With which i definitely concur. On tbe two occasions I have been tbere in tbe last month I have had various curries and noodle dishes. The red and green curries are to die for! If anyone tells you Pad Thai is boring you need to try it here then you can correct them. The service and staff are both of a high standard but this is not the restaurant for an intimate romantic meal. But if you want delicious Thai food, a good glass of wine, attentive service in a pristine restaurant you cannot do better than here
