Their massaman beef and coconut rice are great, flavourful dishes. The beef is tender. Service is fast and friendly.

It's been over a year since my first visit to Thai Orchid.

Going to this place was a pleasant experience :) The place is quiet and welcoming, it has a good atmosphere.

I have mix feelings about this place. There were some good things and some not so good. Overall the restaurant is nice enough and well kept so that's good. The service was relatively good and quite friendly so nothing wrong there also.We ordered the pork spring rolls which at $7.50 were not good at all. They tasted like frozen spring rolls and the end parts were actually quite hard while the middle was super soft. This means they were defiantly frozen and the ice on them portably made the middle soggy. We also ordered the drunken noodles and pad Thai. The pad Thai was quite tasty and we asked for 2X spicy which was perfect for us. Had we not done so we would have not felt any spice what so ever despite the waitress saying it was quite spicy. She seemed surprised when we said make it twice as hot and to us it wasn't even that spicy. The noddle's for the pad Thai were under cooked in some parts and crunchy which wasn't the best but overall still tasted good.The drunken noddle's were actually quite good and spicy as well. This was defiantly the better of the 2 dishes. I'm not sure of the Thai name for it but it was

My husband and I went on Saturday night. Three other tables had finished their meals when we ordered. As the only customers I expected good service. The spring roll appetizer was fast, hot and delicious. That's when it went down hill. My husbands pad Thai was served quickly, they brought my pad chan 15 minutes after his. They were able to put 2 to-go orders together without making their only other in person customer's meal!? Very disappointing. The melas are overpriced for just noodles. VERY little meat OR vegetables in the pad thai dishes. Flavour was just okay. Will NOT return. Not good value and the service from the kitchen was unacceptable. The wait staff seem nervous serving people. Had to ask for updates on the meals, refills and the cheque.
