Beyond the endless beverage varieties is a very nice pub menu, great food and really good prices. Service was also a VG experience.
Four of us were wanting a late lunch and stopped in Alibi....what a great decision! The waitress, Andre, was outstanding and so knowledgable. After asking what our taste in beers is, made suggestions and brought samples to help make the decision easier..there are a lot of choices! The food arrived quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious....the fish and chips were exceptionally good. There are also games on the table which were lots of fun. As we were preparing to leave, the owner stopped by our table to see how things were, and showed us the remainder of the restaurant which will be opening soon, and will feature a huge smoker. The decor looked beautiful, and we are looking forward to returning soon, when the smoker is up and running.
Went on Patio Buzz and this place came .....sort of half way for our daughter and us to meet. Beautiful evening....started off I had to ask the waitress to clear the cigarette butts from under the table..and the empty cig package...someone after closing probably sat out and had a few smokes...not very busy for a Tuesday night. Very slow service...but we wee not in a hurry...had to ask 3-4 times where our beer order was..young lady was new and said she is still learning and had no training..food average....patio....very dirty with old furniture...will I go back...nope...I think this is the 3 or 4th owner.....so I will give to Christmas and it will be done.....
My wife and I stopped here for lunch on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. It was very quiet but the patio has real potential! Very big and comfy. They have an unreal beer selection 108 beers on tap. Staff was super friendly and accomodating. We had the pretzels and wings the pretzels were very good the wings were ok. The selection of beer and the patio is the real reason I would return.
The Alibi Pub was featured on Patio Buzz, so we decided to try it on our way out of town after appointments in the city. We arrived mid-afternoon on a Sunday, and we were the only customers in the entire place. We sat on the patio, which is gorgeous and comfortable with a variety of seats in the sun and shade, tables and couches. There is a huge selection of beer on tap (100) you can order in three sizes. We had a friendly waitress who was new but accommodating. We ordered Pretzel Knots & beer dip, and citrus & pepper wings. Both appetizers were delicious, however the veggies that came with the wings were wilted. The dips for both were yummy. Main courses were the steak sandwich and fish stacker. Both were okay. The I ordered coleslaw on the fish, and kettle chips with dill dip. They could have been more flavourful. All in all, it was a positive experience.
