The Hallway Cafe - Edmonton

Came in for a quick stop, grabbed a coffee with cream and a vegan blueberry muffin, I found it a little to sweet to eat.Cute little place in the middle of down town

The food was delicious, we had Spicy Cesar Wraps and The most delicious Soup, Shrimp Chowder. It was like homemade soup. Might be my new favorite ?Excellent service and nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

All the ingredients in the stir fry I ordered were great. However the sauce it was cooked in was extremely strong, extremely. It seemed as if it was primarily soya sauce. If I hadn't of been so hungry I probably wouldn't have eaten half of it.Never been there before so I can't comment on any other dishes but I won't go there again and take the chance. And it is not exactly a cheap place to go it's a little on the high priced side and I'm not sure if the food can live up to the price.

Where do I begin… the place itself is super cute and set up great, but there’s definitely some issues. The canned drink from the cooler was warm, and the peppermint hot chocolate was neither peppermint nor hot. 3 out of the 5 drinks we asked for they didn’t have which was unfortunate and a little annoying. The food was really good actually I will say! But the service was awful. The guy helping us (I think in training) clearly didn’t know a single thing and the woman who I assume was supposed to be training him was somehow even worse. She didn’t help him out, or us and she didn’t have a very good attitude either when we had questions as basic as “how big is the portion of fries?” Don’t know if I’ll be back tbh unless they get the right people then it could be awesome.

The staff at the hallway cafe especially the black haired pony tail one isn't nice, she thinks she runs the place and is super rude to her employees. it takes 5 mins to make an ice coffee. the cafe hardly has people ordering so 5 mins for an ice coffee is a lil much.
