Zwick's Pretzels - Edmonton

My daughter found an article in an edmonton magazine. Wow- small shop in a small retail space but what a find- what a gem!! The pretzels are amazing- so good. Flavours wow- dips wow- drinks are fresh you need to go to this place. We went 2 days In a Row and glad the staff didn't recognize us. I'm sure they will soon through- we will be back here soon!!!! Decent priced too!!

Pretzel is not a Canadian thing, it is an European thing. I love my pretzels whenever I travel to Europe. So it is nice to see Zwick opens its pretzel shop in the 124 Street neighbourhood in Edmonton. Every pretzel is freshly made for you at Zwick, therefore you have to wait at the small line-up, and I did on a Saturday afternoon. A basic salt and butter pretzel, freshly made, is $2 each, and it was good. And there are other specialty pretzels you can order. Zwick is worth a try and a short wait for the fresh pretzels.

A must go for all your pretzel needs! they have amazing breakfast pretzelwiches. Also individual pretzel bites and large pretzels, with a huge selection of dips! Do go early, they run out quick!

Soft and freshly made pretzels. Each pretzel is only $2. I bought 6. Zwicks is closed Monday and Tuesdays. My favourite pretzel place is auntie Anne's in the U.S. zwicks will be my pretzel place in Edmonton now. Small area with a few tables. They make sandwiches also. My favourite is the butter pretzel. Fresh and delicious. Located on the corner of 107 ave and 124 St.

Went to test it out. The taste from German pretzels isn't quite there. I do not know if they use the same Sodium Bicarbonate to boil the pretzels in or if it is the difference of the flour? But they were close. Just wish they could give the choice not to douse them in butter. Just plain with salt would be great! Appreciate that they are appealing to Canadian tastes though :)
