Jose's Pizza - Edmundston

Excellent restaurant situé à St-Jacques! Parfait pout le Take-Out! Pizza, poutine, poulet, subs chauds ( délicieux! ). Great restaurant in St-Jacques! Perfect for Take-Out! Pizza, poutine, chicken, hot subs ( delicious).!

Showed up around 930 after a long day in the rain looking for a good meal, pizza is usually pretty good bet. Got my pizza, ate one bite and realized the dough was raw on the inside. The toppings were like I had never had, straight from the can olives, mushrooms, etc.....who uses this on pizza? I told the girl working about the pizza and she said something about the way they cooked it, I assume they rushed the cooking so they could close up since I was the only customer. She didn't offer any part of my $20 back even though I had ate one full piece of pizza and I was so angry I didn't want to bother talking to her. I never write reviews but in this case had to, to try to save others from losing money or getting sick. I will always avoid Edmunston in the future after this experience.

We once ate at the pizzeria instead of getting takeout. The small space had enough chairs, and the service was quick, with all our needs met. The restaurant offers "brown fries", a more homemade style compared to the golden and overly salty fries from McDonald's or a cafeteria. I would recommend this place for a good takeout or dine-in pizza in the charming village of St-Jacques. Each area of Edmundston and its surrounding residential zones has its own unique charm.

I ordered a 12-inch pizza for takeout, but only received a tiny 9.5-inch pizza, as shown in the pictures. When I called to inquire about the discrepancy, the woman, Armance, tried to justify it by saying that plain pizzas shrink in size. I typically only eat cheese/plain pizzas and have never encountered this issue before. Despite my complaint, I was made to feel like an idiot for not knowing that at Jose Pizza, plain pizzas now shrink by 20%. The pieces of pizza in the pictures are comically small. Ultimately, the woman did not attempt to rectify the situation and seemed indifferent. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment. For a pizza that actually matches the size you paid for, I recommend Bosse Mini Mart on 322 rue Principale. Interestingly, their pizzas are both decent and do not shrink. It is worth noting that Jose Pizza has undergone new ownership in recent months, leading to changes in recipes and higher prices. Having frequented the restaurant in the past, I have never experienced such a disappointing situation when Mario, the previous owner, was in charge.

This restaurant in St-Jacques is excellent! Perfect for take-out options. Their pizza, poutine, chicken, and hot subs are delicious! Great spot for a quick and tasty meal.
