It was very cozy, the people were friendly and they were able to speak English. The food was tasty as well. We left a 10% tip for the great service :

We ordered 4 dishes, 3 of them very absolutely very good. The only small issue was with the normal chicken schnitzel., It has been tough to chew and dry. But still place is very nice and we liked it a lot.

This restaurant is a lovely one; even though it's located on the main square, it's absolutely down-to-earth. Lovely traditional local food, excellent service and reasonably priced lovely food features generous portions. It has a lovely outside sitting area overseeing the main square. We were delighted with the staff as well. It wasn't expensive at all. The restaurant wasn't crowded. Highly recommended

Another gem in the heart of a gorgeous city! Very cozy place in the middle of a square with a view of the Eger Castle. There was live music as well. One can sip on a glass of wine huge selection in the menu , while people watching. Great place to spend a lovely evening.

We ordered tenderloin with sheep curd and tomato salad and grilled ewe-cheese with sweet potatoes. The pork was perfectly prepared. It had a crispy crust and the middle part of the flesh was crumbly. Ewe-cheese was also very tastty and the staff was also very nice
