On a rainy evening at 7:30 PM, we made our way to the restaurant with trepidation as the darkness made it seem like we were heading in the wrong direction.

Wow! This restaurant in Giles County, Virginia is a hidden gem. The food quality is truly impressive and the atmosphere is wonderful. Last Sunday, they even had live music which added to the experience.

I wish I could give this restaurant a better review because you can tell that they really put in effort, but the service was quite slow and it didn't seem to be due to a lack of staff. It felt more like disorganization. I ordered French onion soup, which I have had before. Unfortunately, the soup tasted like it was straight from a can and lacking cheese. The pizzas ordered by others in our group were okay, but not outstanding. Perhaps we just happened to visit on an off night?

We have been hosting our graduation parties at this restaurant for ten years now. The drive there is picturesque. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, delicious coffee, and tasty food. It is always a pleasant experience.
