Jacobs Well Coffeehouse - El Cajon

First and last visit. I wanted this place to be good. has heard good things. we went in and were greeted with us from a crowd that we decided to try it anyway. when we were asked to drink, I looked at the latte. I asked if they had vanilla taste or hazelnut. our waitress didn't know. then she said, oh yes, we are from coffee beans floor! my father-in-law asked for a pepsi. we are from pepsi. he ordered a dr. pepper. when she brought the drinks over her, she called her and was insecure when his drink was real or diet. if it tastes funny let me know if we finally got our pizza, the waitress told us it would be longer because our second pizza was burned. I give him two stars because the pizza was actually pretty good. our waitress went to the place where pizza was eaten. not very professional. Too bad we wanted to like this place.

We drove two and a half hours to lunch. Does that tell you how great they are?!

11/1/17 Now we know why they are closing. The service was awful today...awful.

Sad they are closing this is my favorite place to go!

If you've never tried the smoked Gouda soup, you are missing out, it is exceptionally good.
