I came in for lunch take out and was greeted by the friendly staff, Sam the manager took my order. He was courteous and efficient. I ordered Tabbouleh, Hummus, and three skewers of Beef Kabab. The total amount was only $21.08 They also added 2 big pita bread with it. The portions were good for 3 people for what I have ordered and the food tasted delicious. Very fresh, tasty a total authentic Syrian food. I enjoyed my lunch today. This is my third time to order food at this restaurant and I haven’t been dissatisfied with the food or service. I waited to write a review until today to see if the food quality is consistent from my perspective. Thank you for being one of the best restaurants in East County San Diego. Keep up the good work!
Great meshawy and friendly service, our family enjoys the chicken tikka kabob the most. Food is fresh and tasty! There are weekend specials and mana2eesh for breakfast. Free parking and complimentary tea are wonderful. Thank you!!!
Hear me out. This is a local spot that has amazing Syrian food. Located in La Mesa on Main Street, come here for the kabobs, hummus, and a personal favorite of mine, Qouzi. Parking may get a little difficult as there are only a couple of spots next to the restaurant. However, we've never had an issue. Once inside, you can order first and find yourself a seat. Besides the kabobs, I want to introduce you all to a delicacy that they only serve on the weekends, Qouzi. It's braised lamb over rice enriched with cardamum and other spices. The lamb melts in your mouth and the rice soaks up all the juices. I've come here on many occasions, and will be back many times in the future. The restaurant wait staff is nice and attentive, and the prices are really good for the experience you're about to have.
I love this place but they keep increasing their prices when the food quality changed, don't get me wrong hopefully they you do something about it
