Tropifruit Juice - El Cajon

This restaurant has truly declined during my last few visits. I decided to order ahead this time due to the notoriously long wait times, yet I still ended up waiting an additional 10 minutes. While the food is decent, it simply doesn't justify the wait or the cost.

The current layout of the restaurant is also problematic. Placing the fruit at the front while preparing smoothies in the back is inefficient and leads to excessive wait times. It shouldn’t take this long to fulfill an order. Staff seem to lack a sense of urgency or work ethic, or perhaps both. While the food and smoothies are still tasty, the wait time is absolutely ridiculous. Honestly, you could prepare your meal faster at home.

This place used to be fantastic, but it's really gone downhill. I ordered two small aguas, a small acai bowl, and a small fruit salad, and my bill came to $34. I was expecting a quality experience for that price, but the aguas were warm and had the consistency of a smoothie instead of being refreshing. The fruit salad was disappointing too, with brown apples, rotten grapes, and even fruit seeds mixed in, plus it was also warm. These items are meant to be refreshing, not served hot. I ended up just eating the acai bowl and wasted over $30. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

If you're in a rush or starving do not order here, they take way to long to prepare a sandwich. I ordered an hour ahead and still waited 15 mins. Food is good but the service is bad!

Customer service has gone downhill. Not very friendly or patient they are brash and snippy. I tried to order stuff and they were out of almost everything I asked for. And when I did order and paid they didn't have what I wanted.I also lost my points. The older lady was the best running the register she always made sure we got our points and she knew if they were out of stuff before we ordered. She was very friendly and and she was great at customer service. Just don't be in a hurry when you go.
