Feedback gevenThey don't know how to fix a cheese fondue.. The cheese was a clump in both pots that we ordered and adding wine and lemon juice helped only a little. They served it with cubes of fried chicken and fried ham and fried sausages and we had to ask for bread.
As with some of the other contributors here, chose this place as it looked like a cosy little place. And of course they had the Pollo disco which was quite a steal at 270 pesos (yes apparently the price increased from 240 previously). I have to say the portion is quite generous and definitely enough for 2 or even 3 pax. It was quite flavorful but a tad too salty. The chicken pieces could have been done better, maybe cooked slightly longer? A point to note... included in the bill was 'cutlery' charge of 25peso per person? Not sure if that was normal but I'm quite sure we did not have such a charge in the other restaurants we went to in El Calafate.
Good serviceQuality food but nothing special!A little pricey! We ordered a pizza and a salad and payed a lot more than we think would be fair!By the way, if you are looking for a pizza, there are better options, many of them even use wood ovens to cook them...Finally, I would definitely renew the chairs!! They look dirty and sticky!
If you are deprived of taste buds, you may not notice that the napkins have the same flavor as the food. Ordered pasta with extra cost for sauce, and could not stand to eat it.
We called in for the pollo disco special $240 for two people. It was busy too...must be good?!The actual dish was plenty for two - possibly three people. Plenty of chicken and taste. We enjoyed it. But why only 3 stars? The cheapest wine cost $190 for a low quality bottle (everyone else was drinking water or coke)The service was slow and not very attentive ( the older guys were better) things like walking past and looking at the empty plates 4 times on their way to do something else- multi tasking is not a priority here. Cover charge was $25 per person in October. I would recommend the pollo disco!
