We ordered some drinks while we looked at the menu, the prices on the menu were quite steep, but it was the wine list and the prices that appeared to us as a way over the top. The cheapest bottle was 1800 Pesos £25) but there were many for much higher to £100). When we ordered the beer, we accepted the drinks and paid for them, but they were also the most expensive ones we got over! The waiters could not speak English what is our problem, but it helps if they have the basics.
We went to this place on a Friday after some hikes, and were happy to get a table. The food was nice, service like that. Waitress said no word of English and although we tried in Spanish, she didn't get all our orders right. food was nice, wine is strongly overpriced; everything is overpriced compared to other places in El Chalten; they have made mistakes in our bill. On the positive we could pay with credit card.
... I've never eaten as much as I have in Estepa. So much that my friend and I went a second time the next day. Of course I expected a worse experience, as is usually the case. But what made it so good for the second time is that they never repeat. The bread was different, the beats were different. Everything amazing! The salad was the best I ever had. The Entrees are to die, the desserts are elegant and tasty. When created only so unique and tasty dishes at home.
Fantastic tender! The best I had in Argentina. Attention. Great Malbec. Required cash. Would go back to a shot. I
We pitched up in our walking gear in need of a post trek beer and were welcomed by the lovely owner. Decided to go back for dinner and had excellent steaks and veg. Beautifully cooked and great flavours. Take cash though we weren’t able to pay with a card.
