Patagonia Rebelde - El Chaltén

If you want to make your evening an integrated dinner, where besides eating well, local gastronomy, you can in turn know the Creole culture, the past of Patagonia, its typical dances and its recent history; Well, Patagonia Rebelde, located in San Martin Street, in El Chaltén offers us all that... and much more. With very varied menus and a delicious wine; we could eat at large for less than 220 pesos per comensal (some more than 15 euros). According to the owners of the restaurant, at night the activity is much more alive, with live Creole music and even, if you are lucky, you can come to coincide with some of their typical dance contests and the best dresses -of the time-. If I can highlight a very important point of this restaurant, unlike the rest of the southern country, Patagonia Rebelde offers good fish, something that is appreciated in the most carnivorous country in which I have lived. They have food schedules and the closure is quite extensive, as after a good dinner tourists stay taking some good wines.

The place is beautiful. Warm and excellent service. The food was abundant and delicious. At the entrance they gave us some richy little breads that we loved with preparations to taste of morrones, another of carrots and one of mayonnaise, all very rich landlord. Matías the chef came to greet us, a total genius. We ate special lamb to the record and bondiola to black beer. Impressive. Excellent prices. The chef gave us homemade breads to take us. We'd definitely be back.

Restaurant specialized in grill. The prices have risen, yet the grid for 2 gave us to eat 4 people. It was exquisite, good point and very good cuts. I recommend it!

The place is beautiful, full of history of the original peoples. The music is also typical of here, from tango to singing authors of this period that go according to the theme (all very relax). The dishes are strong for one or two people, depending on your appetite. We asked for a plate each and it was more than enough. Attention was also good and fast. Good place to spend a pleasant moment, quiet and enjoy.
