Oscar & Lalo - El Lagunero

We've been here for years. The food, the atmosphere and the service were always impeccable. The owner is so sweet and really takes care of your experience with Oscar and Lalos. We were the other night there and between cooking and greeting guests, she stopped at our table to see how we did. Top Notch!

Excellent Mexican restaurant near Tulum. The restaurant is located in a lush garden with wooden chairs and tables. It seems very popular with tourists. We can recommend the guacamole, King Prawns with garlic and the prawn tacos.

Went here as a family, the setting is quite nice but nothing special. Service was good and staff were friendly. We had mango and shrimp cerviche to start and it was delicious. Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the mains, the presentation was nice but taste not so. Neither my or I finished our food and were left disappointed when we had to settle the bill. Overall not as expected.

I just love this place. I have made it a point to eat here on my last 4 visits to Mexico. I hope to continue this tradition. Virgina has been there to greet and take care of us each time I've returned. Super sweet genuinely kind senorita. Romantic welcoming environment. If you want a quiet place near Tulum that is not so expensive this is the place. It sits un the jungle. Service was friendly and attentive. Kudos for excellent frozen margaritas. We enjoyed the platter that comes with shrimp, calamari, flank steak and chicken. Great place to unwind with friends.
