If you’re vegan, it’s important to clarify that, as there seemed to be a language barrier. Overall, I was very happy with my meal!
I picked up some dried seaweed, dehydrated noodles, and frozen plant-based meats made from soy protein and wheat gluten, which included options like vegetable fish, chicken, chicken nuggets, and veggie ham cubes. So far, we've tried the veggie ham cubes and nuggets, and they were delicious. I often heat the nuggets in a toaster and serve them with ketchup, while I cooked the ham cubes in an Asian-style vegetable broth soup. The roasted seaweed was tasty enough to eat straight from the bag. Overall, a good find!
The current location is a bit small and tricky to find, with limited parking. The door is often locked, even when the "OPEN" sign is displayed, so you'll need to knock for her to come out and unlock it. She mentioned that they are moving but didn’t provide the new address right away; instead, she encouraged me to check if they’ve relocated. She also gave me a business card with the following contact number: Jerry Yang, Cell: 626-500-5551. The new address will be: 10942 Klingerman St #B, South El Monte, CA 91733.
The shop itself is a bit small and can be tricky to find parking. Also, the door is always locked, even if the “OPEN” sign is lit, so you’ll need to knock for her to come unlock it. She mentioned that they’re planning to move, though she didn’t specify where. She did give me a card with a new contact number: Jerry Yang, cell: 626-500-5551. The new address is 10942 Klingerman St.
I picked up some dried seaweed, dehydrated noodles, and frozen faux meats made from soy protein and wheat gluten, including sweet fish, chicken nuggets, and a product called "sweetheart." So far, we’ve tried the chicken nuggets and the "schleierschinken," and they were both very tasty. I often pop the nuggets into a toaster and serve them with ketchup. I also cooked them in a sweet Asian-style broth. The seaweed is already roasted, and I enjoyed eating it straight from the package – it was delicious!
